10th Gen Intel Xeon W-10885M Review

Launched in mid-2020, 10th Gen Intel Xeon W-10885M, which has 8 cores and 16 threads is a mobile processor based on 14 nm Comet Lake micro-architecture, with a base clock frequency of 2.40 GHz and can go up to 5.30 GHz. It has a 16 MB Intel smart cache. The processor has two variations of TDP, the default being 45 W and a lower version of 35 W. it has dual memory channels that support DDR4-2933 RAM at a maximum memory size of 128 GB. Other key specs include 16 PCIe 3.0 lanes. Intel Xeon W-10885M comes with integrated Intel UHD graphics 630 for 10th Gen, with a base graphic frequency of 350 MHz, it also supports 4k video at 60 Hz, DirectX 12, and OpenGL 4.5.

Performance

In terms of performance of overall performance, the Xeon W-10885M is competitive with AMD ryzen 9 4900H and 4900Hs with it having the lead in single-core performance over AMD while losing to AMD in multi-threaded performance.
