    The 11th Gen Intel Core i7 1195G7 is a High-end processor for thin and light laptops based on Tiger Lake architecture. The 11th Gen Intel Core i7 1195G7 has 4 cores and 8 threads with a base clock of 2.9 GHz and can be boosted to 5 GHz. The chip is based on the Tiger Lake microarchitecture is manufactured on a 10 nm process. The TDP of this Chip is specified by Intel to be at 15 Watts but can vary anywhere from 12 to 28 watts. The 4 core SoC comes with integrated Intel Iris Xe Graphics G7 96EUs and supports DDR4-3200 and Low power LPDDR4x-4267 RAM.

    Performance | How is the 11th Gen Intel Core i7 1195G7 (Can it keep up with AMD)

    11th Gen Intel Core i7 1185G7 can easily handle day-to-day tasks such as Browsing, Streaming, and using office productivity software and is a better option for light users compared to its ryzen counterparts. Now, if we are talking about more demanding tasks such as video editing, photo editing, and 3D applications is a good option for mid-range laptops however its ryzen counterparts with more cores will perform better. In terms of performance, i7 1195G7 does see significant improvements in both single and multi-core performance. However, in terms of multi-core performance, it still can’t compete with its ryzen 5000 series counterparts.
