Launched in early 2017, Intel Core i5-7400, with 4 cores and 4 threads, is a 7th Gen Intel processor based on Intel’s 14 nm Coffee Lake architecture designed for desktop, with a base clock frequency of 3.00 GHz and can go up to 3.50 GHz. It has a 6 MB L3 cache (Intel smart cache). The processor has a default TDP of 65 W, and it has dual memory channels that support DDR4-2133/2400 RAM or DDR3L-1333/1600. Other key specs include 16 PCIe lanes. Intel Core i5-7400 comes with integrated Intel HD Graphics 630, with a base and maximum graphic frequency of 350 MHz and 1.00 GHz respectively, it also supports 4k video at 60 Hz, DirectX 12, and OpenGL 4.5. Intel Core i5-7400 has an FCLGA1151 socket to connect with the motherboard.
