Launched in mid-2018, Intel Core i5-8400T is a Hexa core processor with 6 threads based on 14 nm Coffee Lake microarchitecture designed for Desktops. The CPU has a base clock speed of 1.70 GHz and a boost clock speed of 3.30 GHz, and 9 MB of Intel Smart Cache. The processor has a default TDP of 35 watts and it comes in a lower TDP configuration of 25 watts. Other key specs include 16 PCIe 3.0 lanes, dual memory channels that support DDR4-2666 RAM up to 128 GB. Intel Core i5-8400T comes with integrated Intel UHD Graphics 630 which supports 4k video at 60 Hz, DirectX 12, and OpenGL 4.5 It has an FCLGA1151 socket to connect with a motherboard.
