9th Gen Intel Core i7-9750H

Launched in April of 2019 i7-9750H by intel is a high-end processor for gaming laptops powered by 6 cores/12 Threads as a part of the intel Coffee Lake-H lineup. With a base clock of 2.6 GHz and a boost clock of 4.5 GHz or 4 GHz, all cores enabled. Manufactured on Intel’s 14nm manufacturing process and greater clock speeds compared to i7-8750 and with some minor IPC improvements. According to Intel, the TDP of the i7 9750H is 45 watts however it can be configured down to 35 with lower performance.

Performance

In terms of performance, it is almost 40 percent faster compared to AMD Ryzen 7 3750H and goes toe to toe with AMD ryzen 5 4600H. At the time of its launch, it was one other best processor that one could find in a laptop but in 2021 it has become an average midrange processor in terms of performance.
