Launched in March of 2021, EPYC 7663 by AMD is a 56 Core, 112Thread processor designed for servers based on AMD’s 7mn Zen 3 microarchitecture with a base clock of 2GHz, and a boost clock of 3.5 GHz. Other key specs include 240 watts of TDP, an L3 cache of 256MB, support for up to two-way SMP(Symmetric Multiprocessing), 8 channels of DDR4 3200MHz memory support of up to 4TB, and an SP3 socket.
