The Ryzen 3 5400U is powered by 4 cores and 8 threads with a base clock of 2.6 GHz and 4 GHz of boost clock. Manufactured on TSMC’s 7nm process AMD claims an average of 19 percent IPC gain. The TDP of this Chip is specified by intel to be at 15 Watts but can vary anywhere from 10 to 25 watts. The 4 core APU of the 5400U comes with an integrated AMD Radeon RX Vega 6 (Ryzen 4000/5000) with 6 compute units and supports DDR4-3200 and Low power LPDDR4-4266 RAM.
