Based on TSMCs 12 nm process and Zen+ microarchitecture with a base clock of 3 GHz and a boost clock of 4.2 GHz. According to AMD the TDP of the Threadripper 2970WX is configured at 250 Watts. Other key features include 76 MB of Total Cache(L2+L3), 4 channel DDR4 2933 Mhz memory support of up to 2TB, and 60 PCI express lanes.
