Apple M1 Max | Review

Announced in October of 2021 Apple M1 Max is a 10 core is Soc (System on a Chip) configured with 8 high-performance Firestorm cores and 2 power efficiency Icestorm cores. The firestorm cores here have two 4-core clusters each with its own 12 MB of L2 cache and a maximum clock speed of up to 3228MHz. The Icestorm cores on the other hand can have a clock speed of up to 2064MHz with 4MB of L2 cache. Other features include a 512-bit LPDDR5 memory with 6400MT/s speed which translated to 409.6 GB/s bandwidth. The system-level cache here is 48MB which is similar to the L3 cache but is utilized by the entire SoC, not just the CPU cores. Here we have 2 options when it comes to iGPU here:
