Design | A Sleek 15.6 Inch Gaming Laptop
Compared to the older Asus tuf models and other gaming laptops of its category, the Tuf Dash 15 is slightly lighter, weighing almost 2 Kg. The chassis here is made out of metal and plastic with an aluminum top with a matte finish the base of the device is made out of plastic with a matte finish. The lid opens up to 130 degrees and allows you to open the device with one hand. Overall has a great build quality with no visible defects.

has 1x USB 3 (Type C with DisplayPort and power delivery support), 2x USB 3.0 (Type-A), HDMI, Rj- 45 Ethernet Jack, 1x Thunderbolt 4 (Type C with DisplayPort support), and 3.5 mm Combo Audio Jack.
Most of the ports on this laptop are on the left-hand side with only a USB Type-A port on the right-hand side. For wireless connectivity, we have WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2. The webcam here is a 0.9mp camera with a max resolution of 1,280x720p its not a particularly good webcam.
Keyboard and Trackpad
features a chicklet style backlit keyboard with concave keys. The Keys have a clear actuation the WASD keys are transparent and get a little extra RGB backlight. The arrow keys are a bit small with the num pad being a little narrow. The arrow keys here are a little small. The keys have a 3-stage white backlit light. Overall provide a decent experience. The trackpad here is a 13×7.7cm multitouch pad with a smooth finish. The dedicated mouse buttons on the bottom are quite clicky and tactile and it is always better to have dedicated buttons.
Upgradability
The ASUS TUF Dash F15 FX517ZC-HN084WS gives you a ton of options for upgradability and makes this device relatively future-proof. You can access the RAM and Storage by removing the back panel. There are two PCIe m.2 2280 Slots, Wifi Card, and a 2x SO-DIMM Slot.
