The chassis of the Asus TUF Gaming A15 A15 FA506IU-HN233T is entirely made out of plastic and has a black textured finish with a single red stripe. The design here is not a beautiful one but it has tuff design except for the lid which wobbles a little. The display maintains a modern design with thin 7mm bezels.

Keyboard and Trackpad

The Asus TUF Gaming A15 FA506IU-HN233T has a chicklet style backlit keyboard. The WASD keys are transparent and get a little extra RGB backlight. The arrow keys are a bit small with the num pad being a little narrow. Overall you will have a good experience while typing and Gaming. The trackpad on the other hand has a smooth matte surface though it lacks a little precision. The dedicated mouse buttons on the bottom quite clicky and tactile and it is always better to have dedicated buttons.

Performance

When compared to its previous generation, the AMD Ryzen 9 4900H sees almost 2x improvement in performance. The AMD Ryzen 9 4900H has a 14 percent higher base clock (400 MHz) and a 5 percent higher boost clock (200 MHz) when compared to Ryzen 7 4800H. When compared to its intel counterpart the 4900H is comparable to i9-10980HK. The GPU here is an upper midrange GTX 1660Ti with  GB of dedicated graphics memory though it is true that you may not be as powerful as its 20 series RTX counterparts however I don’t think so there is any game that would be unplayable.

RAM and Storage

The RAM and storage of the FA506IU-HN233T are configured at 16GB and 1TB HDD + 256 GB SSD. The 16GB DDR4 RAM runs in Dual-channel at 3200 there are 2x SO-DIMM both of which are occupied. The max limit for memory support here is 32 GB. The storage here occupies 1 of the 2 M.2 Slots with 256GB M.2 NVMe SSD and the 1 TB HDD occupies the one 2.5 Inch SATA  slot.
