Design and Build Quality
The has a 16.1 Inch chassis weighing in at 2.46 Kg/5.4 pounds and measuring in at 14.6 x 10.2 x 0.9 inches. The chassis here is constructed out of plastic, but it feels fairly robust with minimal flex. The overall design is similar to that of HP Omen and has a premium feel to it. The hinge here could have been better as while opening the device with one hand the laptop moves and the display is prone to wobbling.

You can easily remove the back panel by removing the Philips head screws, there you can find two RAM slots and two M.2 slots.
Keyboard and Trackpad
The keyboard on the HP Victus 16 has a chicklet style backlit keyboard with somewhat of an unusual layout. The keys here are a clear actuation point and giving the end-user an above-average typing experience once you get used to the layout. We appreciate the full-size Numpad but the arrow keys remain small. The trackpad on the other hand fairly large measuring 12.5cm in width and 8cm in height with a smooth finish. We have zero complaints about precision and gesture controls.
