    Temperature and Power Consumption

Intel’s 12th Gen core i3 12100F has an idle power draw of approximately 69 watts and can go up to 336 watts at its peak and will run a few degrees cooler compared to its Ryzen and 11th Gen Intel counterparts on idle however under load the temps can go up to 97 Degrees Celsius or 206 Fahrenheit which is a tad bit higher compared to its Ryzen counterparts. That being said in order for you to maximize the performance of this processor you will need a powerful CPU cooler.
