10th Gen Intel Core i9-10980XE Review
Launched in October of 2019 Intel Core i9-10980XE processor is designed for the high-end workstation/Desktops based on the Cascade Lake-X series. Powered by 18 Cores and 36 Threads with a base clock of 3GHz and a boost clock of 4.6 GHz in terms of performance it is slightly faster than its predecessor i9-9980XE thanks to increased clock speeds. According to Intel, the TDP here is 165 Watt and due to this, it needs a robust cooling solution. Other key specs include 48 PCIe 3.0 lanes and dual memory channels that support DDR4-2933 RAM at a maximum memory size of 256 GB. Intel Core i9-10980XE does not come with integrated graphics.
