Targeted towards the high-end desktop market the 11th Gen Intel Core i9 11900KF by intel is the flagship processor of its Rocket Lake lineup. The 8 Core 16 thread processor has a base clock of 3.5 and a boost clock of 5.3 GHz with a turbo boost of 3.0 and 5.1 GHz with a Turbo Boost 2.0 on a single thread. With all cores, it can be boosted up to 4.8 GHz. According to Intel TDP of the 11900KF is 125 Watt but it can go up to 250 Watt in short bursts of up to 56 seconds. i9 11900K is compatible with all FCLGA1200 motherboards based on Intel B560, Intel H510, Intel H570, Intel Z490, and Intel Z590 chipsets however in some cases you need a bios update.
