Launched in mid-2017, Intel Pentium Gold 4415Y  is a laptop processor powered by 2 cores and 4 threads based on Intel’s 14nm Kaby Lake architecture, with a base clock of 1.60 GHz. Other key specs include 2 MB of L3 cache, a TDP of 6 watts that can be set to a lower TDP of 4.5 watts, dual memory channels that support LPDDR3-1866, and DDR3L-1600 up to 32 GB.  On the graphics end of the game, Intel Pentium  Gold 4415Y comes with integrated Intel HD Graphics 615 which supports 4k video at 60 Hz, DirectX 12, and OpenGL 4.5.

How is the Intel Pentium Gold 4415Y (Good or Bad)

The Intel Pentium Gold 4415Y is 50 percent slower compared to the 10th Gen Intel Core i3 1005G1. It is good for essential tasks such as Browsing, Streaming, Videoconferencing, and using office productivity workloads such as excel and PowerPoint. That being said however if you want to do multi-tasking it may not be the best option.

How is Intel Pentium Gold 4415Y for gaming

In terms of performance, Intel HD Graphics 615 when it comes to integrated graphics solutions performs relatively poorly and is only good for light gaming and cant run games such as GTA V but can run League of Legends and counter strike. However, remember that as it’s an integrated graphics solution its performance greatly depends on a number of factors such as the configured TDP, Clock Speed, Cooling Solution, and RAM configuration.
