The i7 13700K by Intel is a part of its 13th Generation raptor lake lineup for high-end desktops and workstations. It is powered by 8 high-power cores and 16 power-efficient cores with a base clock of 2.2 GHz and a boost clock of 4.3 GHz on the other hand the high-performance golden cove cores have a base clock of 4.3 GHz and a boost clock of 5.8 GHz.According to Intel the base TDP (PL1) of the i7 13700K is 125 Watts and can be boosted up to TDP (PL2) 253 Watts. Other key features include support for DDR4 and DDR5 memory and the LGA1700 socket. Based on Intel’s 10 nanometers architecture intel claims an IPC (instructions per cycle) gain of 15% compared to its predecessor Rocket Lake in single-core performance and a 40 percent increase in multi-core performance.
Integrated Graphics
Intel UHD Graphics Xe 770 is based on intel’s Alder Lake GT1 10 nm Xe architecture powered by 256 shading units, 16 texture mapping units, and 8 ROPs. In terms of performance, it is very similar to its predecessor Intel UHD Graphics Xe 750 and is capable of playing games such as Apex legends at 40+ FPS at 720p and GTA 5 at 30+ FPS at low settings.
