Launched in January of 2023, Intel Core i5 1335U is a mid-range processor for thin and laptops as part of Intel’s 13th Gen Raptor-Lake-U lineup.  Powered by 2 performance cores with 4 threads and 8 efficiency cores with 8 threads. The performance core has a base clock of 1.3 GHz and a boost clock of 4.6 GHz the efficiency cores, on the other hand, have a base clock of 0.9GHz and a boost clock of 3.4GHz.

How is 13th Gen Intel Core i3 1335U in terms of performance (Good or Bad)

For your day-to-day tasks such as Browsing, Streaming, and office productivity software the 10-core 13th Gen Intel Core i5 1335U is more than enough. Now if you are looking for a budget-thin and light laptop for video/photo editing or even animation the Intel Core i5 1335U is a great option as it goes toe with Intel’s 12th Gen i7 1255U and AMD Ryzen 5 6600U.

How is 13th Gen Intel Core i3 1335U for Gaming

13th Gen Intel Core i3 1335U is powered by IIntel Iris Xe Graphics G7 80EUs performs comparable to AMD’s Vega 7 Graphics and should be able to play games such as GTA 5 at 60 FPS 1366×768 resolution mid settings,  Red Dead Redemption 2 you can get 30+ FPS 720p at low setting and Elden Ring is most likely unplayable.

It also supports new faster DDR5 memory of up to  5200MHz and low-power LPDDR5 5200MHz while also supporting DDR4 memory of up to 3200MHz and low-power LPDDR4X 4267MHz.
