Launched in early 2017, Intel Core i5-7500, which has 4 cores and 4 threads is a 7th Gen Intel processor based on 14 nm Kaby Lake architecture designed as a desktop processor, with a base clock frequency of 3.40 GHz and can go up to 3.80 GHz. It has a 6 MB L3 cache (Intel smart cache). The processor has a default TDP of 65 W and it has dual memory channels that support DDR4-2133/2400, DDR3L-1333/1600 RAM up to a maximum memory size of 64 GB. Other key specs include 16 PCIe lanes. Intel Core i5-7500 comes with integrated Intel HD Graphics 630, with a base and maximum graphic frequency of 350 MHz and 1.10 GHz respectively, it also supports 4k video at 60 Hz, DirectX 12, and OpenGL 4.5.
