Launched in January of 2022 AMD Ryzen 7 6800U is an 8 core/16 thread processor for thin and light laptops based on AMD’s Zen 3+ microarchitecture with a base clock of 2.7 GHz and can be boosted to 4.7 GHz. The chip is based on the Zen 3+ microarchitecture and is manufactured on a 6 nm process by TSMC. The Configurable TDP specified by AMD is to be at 15 to 28 Watts. Other Key Features Include AMD Radeon 680M integrated Graphics, support for USB 4 (40Gbps), and support for DDR5 4800MHz and Low power LPDDR5 6400MHz RAM.When compared to its previous generation the 6800U is performed 11 percent faster in single-core benchmarks and 28 percent faster in multi-threaded and productivity benchmarks.
