Design and Build Quality

MSI Stealth GS66 12UGS has a relatively small chassis for a 15 inch laptop at (height x width x depth (In mm) | 19.8x358x248 ) and weighing in at 2.2 kg which for a gaming laptop made out of aluminum is on the lighter side. In terms of aesthetics MSI Stealth GS66 12UGS looks clean and is perfect for professional settings. The device has a smooth metal finish to it which does attract fingerprints. The hinges work smoothly while opening and closing the device and can open all the way up to 180 degrees.

Keyboard and Trackpad

The keyboard on the MSI Stealth GS66 12UGS has chicklet style backlit keys with single key RGB for gamers. The keys have good feedback and feel tacktile making the overall typing experience above average that being said the you don’t get numberPad on this device. The trackpad on the other hand has a smooth surface measuring in at 6.5×14 cm with no dedicated buttons and feels a little unstable while clicking on the edges.
